Find and cite public evidence
Read /sources/players for citable fantasy football player research. Use /sources/players.json?q=Josh or /sources/players.md?q=Josh to search by player name or exact Sleeper ID. Optional filters: position=QB|RB|WR|TE, fmt=half|ppr|std, teams=10|12, qb=1|2, page=1 and limit=1..100. Defaults are half-PPR, 12 teams, one QB, and 50 results. The sourcebook foregrounds observed and estimated future points per game during the season; full-season projections and draft ADP remain historical context on each player page. metric_definitions explains units and periods in the machine-readable responses.
Each player links to /sources/players/{sleeper_id}, with matching .json and .md representations. Cite the canonical HTML URL. Include season/week and scoring assumptions, and inspect freshness, limitations and generated_at. retrieved_at is not a source update. Null values are unavailable; do not fill them in.
Dated research reports are available at /sources/reports, /sources/reports.json and /sources/reports/{slug}.md. Reports retain their publication date and are not live player recommendations. For a league identifier supplied by the user, /sources/leagues/{league_id}/{surface}.json returns bounded existing public league research with explicit truncations; surface is one of draft-review, managers, game-environment, season-activity, value, projected-finish, head-to-head, history, sharpness or players. These league URLs are not enumerated in search sitemaps.
The public-only OpenAPI document is /sources/openapi.json. No account or API key is needed for these sources. League history can be discovered by a user through /explore; private account and league decisions do not belong in public citations.
Use authorized tools
Visit /connect for setup. The tool catalog is /api/v1/agent-access/catalog and the tool REST schema is /api/v1/agent-access/openapi.json. Compatible clients use JSON Streamable HTTP at /api/v1/agent-access/mcp for an authenticated account connection, or /api/v1/agent-access/mcp/public for anonymous free tools. REST clients can POST JSON arguments to /api/v1/agent-access/tools/{tool_name}.
The primary /api/v1/agent-access/mcp endpoint requires authentication from the first request and returns a standard HTTP 401 OAuth discovery challenge. Add that URL in a compatible assistant and follow OAuth sign-in and explicit consent through /connect. In Claude choose Sign in now and Register automatically when those settings appear. The connection remains subject to the user's existing account, league and paid-seat permissions. Custom clients can instead create a revocable personal token in /connect and configure Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN. Never place a token in a URL, shared conversation, public page or citation.
For free evidence without an account, use /api/v1/agent-access/mcp/public and choose No sign in. That endpoint lists only public tools and ignores credentials; it cannot expose paid values or account tools even if a token is supplied. Public web sources and public REST tools also remain available without an account.
For a comparison, find the player IDs with search, then call compare_players with sleeper_ids (2–6 unique numeric IDs), fmt, teams and qb. One snapshot returns observed points per game and games played, future estimates with coverage, trade units, and rushing/receiving half-PPR opportunity, with citations and metric definitions. Missing players remain unavailable. This is a comparison of evidence, not a weekly lineup recommendation. Use authorized start_sit for your league's weekly lineup; paid scoring values require your existing seat.
Direct connection availability in Claude or ChatGPT depends on the client's connector features, plan and workspace policy. The server implements OAuth authorization code with PKCE and dynamic client registration. OAuth protocol flows are tested locally; a deployed external ChatGPT or Claude connection must be verified separately. Web browsing can read public sources independently of a tool connection.
Paid access
Public projections, production and ADP remain free; half-PPR trade values are free. Pro adds paid-format trade values and a current-season league seat. See /app for the current offer and /connect for tool setup. A paid seat does not turn on administrator-only research tools. Purchasing and claiming a seat use the site's signed-in checkout flow.
